I’d like to recite a poem I wrote for this wonderful occasion, sorry it’s not very good. *ahem ahem*

Our friends are not for nomming
They’re so small and cute.
When the hunger strikes you
Why not nom some fruit?

Small and furry
Soft and sweet
They’re for hugging
Never never to eat!

Little furries are our pals
Friendships we should forge
We should pet and love them
And maybe call them George!
